Christina’s childhood holidays in Galicia, Spain renowned for its love of gastronomy, were spent at the apron of her family of baker’s, fishermen and chefs, alongside her being spoon fed paella and curry from an early age thanks to her Spanish mother and Pakistani father, this given her an appreciation for culinary delights from around the world.

 

Christina’s professional chef life started cooking on board superyachts that took her to the Greek Islands, The Caribbean, France, Italy, Spain, Croatia and Eastern Seaboard of America, along the way she honed her repertoire and incorporated these influences into her food.  With stints as senior chef de partie at Harvey Nichols, Head Chef at Private Members Club the Green Room and various gastro-pub kitchens along the way. 

 

With this knowledge she excels at turning a simple dish into a flavour sensation with an unexpected addition of an ingredient unearthed on her travels. She now works as a private and demonstration chef, whilst developing her on-line cooking programme.

 

She is well known on the London foodie circuit and is a big supporter of Action Against Hunger.  She has done demo’s at the Essex Food Festival and can be found cooking and creating alongside her partner ‘Iron Chef’ Hulya Erdal.

 

She is also a worldwide published Travel and Gastronomic Writer.
